Predictions 2017 – Part II UK and Europe

World Predictions Part II
BREXITIn this second part of the 2017 predictions we’ll look at some other major world powers and what their countries’ new moon charts look like for this year. In Part I, Predictions for the USA 2017 we looked at the USA chart and the influences that are creating a very volatile year, politically and economically. If you missed it you can find part I here.

In this segment we’ll look at the charts of Germany, the most powerful country in Europe and the one that steers most European government policies, and economic decisions for the EU. We’ll first look at the UK’s 2017 new moon chart with this year being the one that will initiate their break from the European union.

2017 New Moon Chart for the UK

This year’s new moon chart begins March 28, 2017 at 3:57 AM in London. Sagittarius rises with the lord Jupiter situated in the 10th house in Virgo. Without a doubt the UK will not only weather the ensuing storm from Brexit, but will rise up, grow exponentially and remain an important world player on the international scene. The British government will end up being more influential than it was within Europe. With the ascendant lord in the important 10th house of status/labor force/political influence we can be sure of the UK doing well economically and in their business with the other governments of the world.

Saturn in the ascendant will bring power to the government, allowing them to push through parliament new laws and policies that will make Britain more vital than ever on the international scene. This government should enjoy a far better reputation than the previous one, as well as a successful economy at home, thus gaining acclaim and support from the citizens.

Mercury, as lord of the 7th and 10th houses posited in the 5th house, indicates new partnerships and much better trade arrangements than people think. There will be significant investment in the country from abroad and therefore the financial banking sector will do extremely well this year.

Mars is also posited in the 5th house, and being Aries, a sign ruled by Mars, we can expect the entertainment industry to expand in Britain and the stock market to rise, as well. These two planets here create a raja-yoga so such effects will be seen during the second half of 2017 and early 2018. Their aspect on the 11th house of gains will give a sense of optimism to many people as their economic policies will be for the most part successful.

Sun, Moon and Venus are conjoined in Pisces in the 4th house. Sun, as lord of the 9th house, indicates growth of business and trade deals with the EU and USA, as well as other countries. Moon is lord of the 8th, so there will be some challenges in this regard, as well, but all in all, it promises to be a year of growth. Venus in exaltation here is indicating both winning economic policies at home, and international trade deals that allow UK exporters to prosper and have access to foreign markets once all is said and done politically.

Rahu in the 9th will keep them embroiled somewhat in foreign conflicts and alliances, most likely centered on terrorism and armed conflict in both the Middle East and Africa. At home it also will probably bring some terror scares, but more home grown then anything. I think any threats to peace and democracy will come from within the country.

The populace and parliament will support the prime minister in her domestic policies, and with success economically people will be quite happy to stand behind the government in their international arrangements, as well. Domestically there will be no more internal conflict than is usual, in great opposition to the situation in the USA.

2017 New Moon Chart for Germany

The new moon chart for Germany begins on March 28, 2017, cast at 4:57 AM in Berlin. Capricorn rises, with lord of the ascendant Saturn in the 12th house. Germany and the EU is going to go through a lot of trouble during the coming year. The 12th house is a house of losses and having the ascendant ruler there does not bode well for the overall health of the EU. One factor that will help the government is Jupiter’s aspect onto the ascendant, keeping the EU from descending into total chaos.

But with Saturn also ruling the 2nd house of earnings, and being placed in the 12th house, there will be many expenses and a weight on the German people to prop up other countries in the EU that are failing and are saddled with huge debt. This will also affect the stock market and the overall health of the economic situation in Europe. Both politically and economically this will be a difficult year for the German government and the EU as a whole.

Venus conjunct Sun and Moon are in Pisces in the 3rd house. There will be both failures and successes in negotiations with other countries and the German elections will be highly surcharged. There may well be upsets in the government in the upcoming election for chancellor.
Jupiter helps greatly being posited in the 9th house of good fortune. He casts his benefic aspect on his own sign, Pisces, where Sun, Moon and Venus are situated. This will mean successful negotiations to the ensuing problems on the home political front, but it will also keep them involved in international conflicts, as well as bring more terrorist attacks at home in Germany herself.

Rahu and Ketu situated along the 8th house/2nd house axis is another factor foretelling internal political struggles, as well as terrorism and slow economic growth.
However, the raja yoga in this chart in the 3rd house mean Germany’s status and position as chief problem solver and policy maker will be unchallenged. They remain in a strong position in the EU, as well as internationally. The raja yoga created in the 4th house by placement of Mars and Mercury spell success for the exports business and will keep the German economy strong, even if there isn’t much growth this year.
The aspect of Venus on the 9th house creates raja yoga there, meaning the country will weather any possible storms without long term repercussions. The raja yoga in the 10th house by aspect of Mars and Mercury is another factor maintaining Germany as the most powerful force in the European Union, and thus the chief decision makers. However, that has its drawbacks. In a year like this one to come Germany has to be of support to other EU countries, diverting huge resources away from being used at home.

All in all, it’s going to be an interesting year, as the Chinese saying goes. Speaking of which, I’ll be doing part III to this series soon. There we’ll take a look at what the charts of China and Russia seem to portend. Should be interesting… Don’t forget to let me know if I can help you – Remember what Mark Twain said, “Don’t wait, the time will never be just right!”
