Education/Retreat Center Expansion Projects
The Vedic Cultural Fellowship has set up plans to institute a 2 phase expansion . The first new phase of development is expanding the main existing building for more class space and enlarging the dining facilities, shown by the drawing Phase 1. This phase has currently been finished and the opening is scheduled for late June 2006.
The second phase will be the construction of a new building for classes, another yoga studio and therapy rooms shown by the drawing Phase 2.
We invite everyone interested in this project to become involved in any way they can. The Vedic Cultural Fellowship is meant to be a fellowship of like-minded individuals desiring to be a part of this oasis of Vedic spiritual knowledge. –– Howard Beckman, Director

The Vedic Cultural Fellowship is an important new center for promoting Vedic knowledge in the western world. Strategically located at the base of the Southern Rocky Mountains on the Pecos River in northern New Mexico, it affords an excellent access to both the natural wilderness as well as the spiritual vistas of Vedic knowledge within.
“The Vedic Cultural Fellowships International School of Vedic Studies” plans courses, retreats and training programs in Vedic astrology, Ayurvedic Medicine, Ayurvedic Gem Therapy, Vedic philosophy and beginner to advanced yoga courses starting in 2006. It will begin with weekend and weeklong seminars for students both from North America and Europe.
Through the school, the VCF aims to provide the basis for a Vedic community to develop. It has already created a step-by-step expansion plan for residential facilities and an extensive temple.
VCF is the main teaching center that I will be working with here in New Mexico, where I live. It is closely aligned to our American Institute of Vedic Studies in terms of both values and projects (though the two are legally separate entities). I plan to use its facilities for my own local seminars and for advanced training with me over the coming years, and as a facility to bring in students from all over the world. I also intend to bring a high level of teachers to help me teach through the VCF.
I will also use the center for my work with the Hindu community and NRIs in the United States, as part of my work to promote Vedic schools to help sustain the Vedic heritage among the youth. The center will provide a place for East and West to meet and bring out the true global relevance of Vedic dharma.
I personally welcome you to join in this great project. Besides donations, there are many ways you can get involved in the many projects that are under development. We welcome your participation on whatever level you can contribute.
VCF is a tax-exempt religious organization with 501 c 3 status from the US IRS as a Hindu church. All your donations will be fully tax deductible.
