Teachings of the Bhagavad-Gita
This ancient spiritual treatise, literally meaning “Song of God”, is the
classic literature of the ancient Vedas. In it the true goals of human
existence are explained and the inner path of yogic wisdom. This is the main
and universal text for all seekers of Vedic wisdom and although spoken in
India 5000 years ago, is said to have been spoken in many, many bygone ages.
In this class we go over each timeless verse of Bhagavad Gita and discuss the outer and inner meaning of it and its application to all people of the world today. Some classes may concentrate on only one verse and others more than a few. Howard (Hamsavatar das) leads the class and gives the benefit of his lifetime of study of the Vedas under the tutelage of his guru, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
